This Privacy Policy explains how Coogie collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).

1. 1. Information we collect

   We collect only what we need to provide the Service:

   • Account information: your name, email address, organization name and password (stored hashed).
   • Connected app data: data from the tools you connect, such as code repositories, store listings, analytics and advertising accounts.
   • Usage information: how you use the Service, device and browser information, and logs needed for security and reliability.
   • Communications: messages you send us, for example by email.

2. 2. How we use information

   We use information to:

   • provide, operate and improve the Service for you;
   • analyze your app’s data and prepare or make the changes, experiments and campaigns you enable;
   • send reports, service updates and security notices;
   • protect the Service against fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

3. 3. AI processing

   The Service uses AI models from third-party providers to analyze data and generate code, content and reports. Data is sent to these providers only as needed to perform the task, under agreements that restrict how they may use it.

   We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private code or app data to train AI models.

4. 4. Sharing

   We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting, email and AI providers), with tools you choose to connect, or when required by law. Service providers may only use it to perform services for us.

5. 5. International transfers

   Our service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

6. 6. Retention

   We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations.

   We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for credentials, access controls and audit logs to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

   We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. If we use optional analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent where required.

    The Service is not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

    We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
